If you want pageviews/+fav's/+devwatchers et al ... do it the right way.

"The right way" does not include posting "OMG!!!LOLZORS!! Check out my gallery!!" type comments ... It involves becoming a member of the community here on dA .. You can do this by offering constructive feedback on art, post news articles featuring other members' artwork and/or anything else that could affect the majority of the dA community as a whole.

Posting "Hey! Check out my gallery!" comments really do not attract many -- if any at all -- visitors. If anything, these sorts of comments reflect desperation and gives other members the impression that you want everyone to give to you, without you giving anything in return.

Become PART of the community ... Participate in clubs ... Hey, even start your own club; suggest DD's to the appropriate GD's.

Lastly, but not least ... do something innovative with your artwork! Make it something that is you and totally unique. Hey, I never checked out your gallery -- and probably won't because of this comment -- I am only speaking hypothetically.

Also, it's not very nice to use other members' profile pages as an advertising venue.

Heh, I should write a tutorial of this at some point, ha.
